Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook to be discharged in the military this April

Military enlistment is a mandatory requirement to all male citizens in South Korea. Yes, even our oppas are obliged to fulfill their military duties for at least twenty one months.

April is a blessing for Hallyu fans. This month is not only jam-packed in k-pop debuts and comebacks, but also our K-drama oppas Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook will be discharged from the Army! Due to Ministry of National Defense reform, the discharge dates will be earlier than expected!

Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho enlisted in May 2017. Due to car accident history, he is currently serving at Suseo Social Welfare Center in Gangnam District Office as a public officer. The actor is about to discharge in May but due to the reform, he will be discharged on April 25. Lee Min Ho is one of the hottest Korean actor who starred several K-drama hit series like Boys Over Flower, Personal Taste, City Hunter, and The Heirs. The Legends of the Blue Sea is his last drama before his enlistment.

Ji Chang Wook


Ji Chang Wook began his military service in August 2017. He is serving at the 3rd Infantry Division in Kangwon’s Cherwon County. He was originally to be discharged on May 13 but due to the reform, he will be discharged on April 27. Ji Chang Wook is known for his action and romantic comedy dramas. He played the role of Ta Hwan in Empress Ki, Seo Jung Hoo in Healer, and Kim Je Ha in The K2. Suspicious Partners is his last drama project before enlisting in the army.
