JTBC’s drama “SKY Castle” wants to celebrate the drama’s success with a reward vacation!
According to a source from the drama industry, the production team and cast of “SKY Castle” recently confirmed that they will go on a reward vacation. They will most likely leave on February 11 after the Korean Lunar New Year holiday to somewhere in Southeast Asia.
“SKY Castle” tells the story of an elite group of ambitious women as they strive to further the careers of their husbands and ensure the success of their children. The drama soon gained the public’s recognition for realistically and satirically portraying the bitter truth behind the competitive education system in Korea, as well as the ambition of privileged people who want to pass on their money and fame for future generations.
The drama started out with a viewership rating of only 1.7 percent, but its ratings rose every week. As a result, it achieved the highest ratings by any drama in JTBC history with its latest episode, scoring an average of 21.01 percent.
